Weird artifact in single water layer material.

Hi,

in the following images you can see the artifact: the stripes.

They rotate along with the camera and if I zoom in a lot in a particular spot they kind of disappear there but are still present in the farther away locations of the plane. As I get away from that particular spot hey appear again and even larger.

I tried debugging with the visualizations ettings but no luck.

It appears even when the scene is unlit, so it might not be a lighting artifact?

Reflections are off for the material, no refraction neither, just a simple RGB in the scattering.

I have managed to isolate the problem. It seems to come from the scattering. Does anybody have an idea why?

Probably something wrong with your logic in the material leading into the scattering pin.

No can’t be. I have followed tutorials and I have a very simple setup. Just RGB divided by 100 multiplied by an intensity parameter, into the scattering coefficient of the Single Water Layer output.

I am using Forward Rendering if that changes anything?
