Summary
Sometimes when a player tries to switch from a Grappler to their shotgun, the inventory visibly equips the shotgun, but the player still has the Grappler in their hands — firing shoots the grapple rather than the equipped shotgun. The player cannot switch off: swapping back and forth between slots does not fix it, and they remain stuck on the Grappler. This happens in both Creative (standard Grappler) and Battle Royale (Bat Grapple).

Steps to Reproduce
- Have a Grappler and a shotgun in the inventory.
- Switch from the Grappler to the shotgun.
- Occasionally, the inventory shows the shotgun as equipped, but the Grappler stays in the player’s hands and firing shoots the grapple.
- Switch back and forth between the slots — the state does not resolve, and the player remains stuck on the Grappler.
Expected Result
Switching weapons should equip the shotgun in the player’s hands, and firing should fire the shotgun. The visible held weapon, the fire action, and the equipped inventory slot should never desync.
Observed Result
The inventory shows the shotgun as the equipped item, but the player’s hands still hold the Grappler and firing shoots the grapple. Switching weapons back and forth does not fix it — the player is stuck on the Grappler.
