Weapon issues relating to incorrect/reverted stats

Summary

This post goes over stat issues relating to weapons. What I consider to be “Incorrect stats” is a stat that was unintentionally changed by mistake. Buffs/Nerfs being reverted after a season is over is definitely unintended. And some stats being changed from an update to the overall weapon system I also consider to be unintended.

Quad Launcher

  • Deals double the amount of body damage, due to an unfinished ability meant for C6S1

Dragon’s Breath Sniper

  • Has perfect accuracy when sliding

Kill Switch Revolvers

  • No longer gives better accuracy when aiming midair

Lock On Pistol

  • Isn’t first shot accurate when aiming midair
    • This also means the locked on bullets can miss the target

Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle

  • Damage and structure damage is incorrect. The changes were added in v32.00 but was reverted in v33.00.
    • As bonus, the rare rarity deals more damage than the epic rarity
    • Damage and structure damage should be: 75/78/81/85

Pump & Dump

  • Damage is incorrect for both the shotgun and SMG. The changes were added in v34.20 but was reverted in v36.00.
    • Damage for the shotgun should be: 81/86/90/94/99/104
    • Damage for the shotgun’s max damage cap should be: 135/140/145/150/155/160
    • Damage for the SMG should be: 12/13/14/15/16/17
  • The exotic variant should also had these changes reverted

Wrecker Revolver

  • Most stats are incorrect. The changes were added in v37.50 via a hotfix on October 9th but was reverted in v38.00
    • Damages should be 65/68/72/76/79
    • Structure damage should be 42/45/47/49/52
    • Max damage cap should be 125/130/135/140/145
    • Fire rate should be 1.35
    • Spread should be decreased
  • Exotic variant was also affected
    • Damage should be 66
    • Max damage cap should be 175
    • Structure damage should be 44
    • Fire rate should be 2.03
    • Spread should be decreased

Eradicator Hop Rock Fury Assault Rifle

  • Spread is too accurate while firing. This was fixed in a day one hotfix on v37.10 but was reverted in v38.00

Bonus weapons that have incorrect stats that are not shown in the video:

Modular Boom Bolt

  • Deals more structure damage than is should, this was considered a bug and was fixed on the June 7th 2024 hotfix but was reverted in v31.00
    • Structure damage should be 90/94/100

Nitro Fists

  • Deals more damage to players and structures. The changes were added on June 7th 2024 via a hotfix but was reverted in v31.00
    • Punch and Uppercut attacks should both deal 60 damage to structures
    • Air Punch explosion should deal 90 damage to structures and 50 damage to players

Steps to Reproduce

While a lot of these are self explanatory (you can grab a weapon and play around with it, notice how some of the stats were reverted or incorrect) here are some weapons that you can notice these issues with:

Dragon’s Breath Sniper
Step 1: Grab the Dragon’s Breath Sniper
Step 2: While sliding with it, shoot the weapon

Lock On Pistol
Step 1: Grab The Lock On Pistol
Step 2: Have all 4 bullets lock on, and jump in a direction before shooting

Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle
Step 1: Grab both rare and epic rarities of the weapon
Step 2: Check the damage numbers for both weapons

Eradicator Hop Rock Fury Assault Rifle
Step 1: Grab The Hop Rock Fury Assault Rifle
Step 2: Shoot a single bullet or in bursts (hip fire recommended to see results better)

Expected Result

Dragon’s Breath Sniper:
The bullet should go in a random direction.

Lock On Pistol:
All 4 bullet should hit, 3 body shots, 1 headshot.

Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle:
Epic rarity should deal more damage than the rare rarity.

Eradicator Hop Rock Fury Assault Rifle:
The bloom should not decrease, it should stay about the same and get larger.

Observed Result

Dragon’s Breath Sniper:
The bullet will always go to the center of your crosshair.

Lock On Pistol:
Results may very depending on distance and luck, but some shots may end up missing target.

Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle:
Epic rarity deals less 1 damage then the rare rarity.

Eradicator Hop Rock Fury Assault Rifle:
The bloom decreases in size and stays consistent throughout firing.

Additional Notes

There are some weapons that I didn’t mention, Such as most of the modular weapons. Since C6MS2, they have been changing most stats around due to them making new hitscan versions of the weapons. However, it’s probably very difficult to change most of these, since new stat tables would have to be created. It’s also unknown if they want to make these weapons have consistent stats with each other, instead of having the modular or hitscan version dealing more damage or shooting faster. Just thought I would add that here.
