Weapon effects are lasting through death and Reboots

Summary

The Kneecapper and Ballistic Shield’s Sprint, Bash, and Jump effects stay when you are eliminated. When you respawn or are rebooted you still have their effects.

This could affect Blitz, Reload or BR if these items ever return, and is actively affecting creative maps.

Steps to Reproduce

Go into an island, hold the Kneecapper or Ballistic Shield, Then get eliminated by anything. When you respawn you’ll still have the item’s Sprint, Bash, or Jump effects.

Expected Result

When you respawn without the items you should not have their Sprint, Bash, or Jump effects.

Observed Result

When you respawn you have the Sprint, Bash, or Jump effects.

Persist through deaths and reboots, the only way to get rid of it is if the user gets the item again and holds it out.

I had a 100% repro rate

DOES NOT happen with the Typhoon Blade (at least from my testing, saw it on other reports tho)

was happening in all Bullseye maps (0148-0322-5437) but we removed the items because of this bug.

Blitz has had the Kneecapper in it, so I just want to make sure you are aware of this bug, since reboots are a thing in that game mode.

FORT-1001052 has been created and its status is ‘Unconfirmed’. This is now in a queue to be reproduced and confirmed.

Kneecapper and Typhoon Blade movement persisting into following round after being eliminated basically the same as this thread

They said it happens with typhoon blade and from what i saw it doesnt, and they also said rounds when the main issue is deaths.
