I hoped that since Lumen uses distance fields in some measure, that distance fields AO for vr would slip in by luck. It doesn’t appear to have.
Obviously Lumen in vr is insanely performance intensive and far beyond gaming usage, and even beyond some of the hardware that many businesses use for archvis.
YET we have not received even DFAO vr which is far more performant and capable for mid to high end vr gaming and archvis.
Will we ever receive dfao for vr??? I would think we would have gotten it years ago now, I’m absolutely floored by the fact that we got lumen VR first.
Has anyone even managed to get Lumen VR to run well on any high end gaming hardware? It struggles as it is on my 3090.
