Hi,
I’ve been wondering what would be the best way to make a game character’s eyes blink.
Would I use bones? Morphs? Some other trick?
Anyone out there with any experience?
Thanks,
Ben

Depends on your needs. But you could try solving this Problem via a Material. Its limited but maybe it works for you.
Phil Mickelson don’t blink.
Using a material will be easiest way to do it, imo.
You can use morphs and bones as well, but both require a more complicated setup in your 3D modelling software.
Have a look at the Couch Knights example. They use a material to achieve different face expressions.
Thanks for your input. I decided to go the hard way and use morphs. I think it gives the best looking results.
