Summary
Title says it all.
What Type of Bug are you experiencing?
Idk how I keep missing this part and then can’t fix it cuz it’s not a form anymore once posted, but the bug is not with AI but with the editor / devices / water volume exclusion devices (a child bug of water in general in this editor). AI can’t be blamed for anything when only ~20% of documentation is complete (and Idk what your AI assistant is even for; it specifically refuses to have any worth or useful function compared to a real AI setup, even though it connects via MCP the same).
Steps to Reproduce
Place an ocean. Place a water body exclusion volume.
Expected Result
Water body exclusion volume excludes water.
Observed Result
Water body exclusion volume does nothing, fails to exclude water.
Affects Versions
5.8
Platform(s)
Windows

Additional Notes
There shouldn’t be a setting on this that DOESN’T exclude water given it has one job. You can’t quite tell but the volume in the screenshot is submerged. Another basic feature (most of them) not working stopping people from making games. Y’all realize how much work it is to refactor? Stupid user, expecting the software to work at a base level, did not test every single device for basic functionality before assuming. People call that a learning curve but it’s more like tending to a very confused patient.
On this note, water bodies consistently fail to preview or load and that needs to stop being ignored. It’s not, “oh just nudge it.” That is not a professional or adult or consistently effective fix. I definitely would have stopped there and not filled out this alpha testing report if that worked.
