Water simulation with M_Fluid_Sim_01 resuces mesh to a point

Hi

I’m trying to create interactive water in a way described here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVBY3qgjbZ4

So I’m basically using the blueprint: Blueprint’/Water/FluidSimulation/Blueprints/BP_FluidSim_01.BP_FluidSim_01’

My mesh is a cylinder and I need interaction with water to start at the wall, not at the center.

Is that possible, or is the system simplified and it reduces the mesh to a point (position of it)?
