Water Body Transition Matching

I have UE 4.26 and am using the new water plugin. For the most part, it’s working beautifully with the exception that the surface shininess of the lake water is significantly more reflective than that of the river transition and is making a very visibly noticeable line at the junction of the to water bodies. Can someone tell me if there is a way to make the two match to remove that seaming issue?

So, I made copies of the materials used for the lake, river, and river transition and found that if I tweak the fresnal, specular, and roughness of the river transition material, I was able to match the seams. Not sure if this is something that I should have to do, but was able to at least make it look far nicer than it was in the image I provided.
