Hey everyone! I’ve recently started messing around with all things UE4 and I have a few questions relating to the water system. I am currently using a custom water body.
How would I go about changing the color and appearance of the water material? What parameters should I mess with and where can I find them?
I have also been looking into the FarDistance option that there is and I can’t quite seem to understand how to make it work, as when I have a water mesh actor in my scene and adjust the FarDistance option, nothing seems to happen?
Besides the FarDistance parameters, there are also the post processing options that I can’t quite seem to change… How would I go about adding an underwater effect to a custom water body?
Finally, when activating the Gerstner waves I get this weird result that I’m not too sure how to fix…
