Hello, I have applied a white material to my walls in the scene, but when rendering and playing the scene they are coming out grey. Why is this? I’m trying to get a pure white room.
There’s always going to be some shadows, because that’s the way the engine is designed.
If you want to hardly be able to tell if there are walls there, then use a very slightly emissive material, and less lights.
Your exposure isn’t set correctly. If you’re using auto exposure then this is a common problem with it (especially in scenes with a lot of snow), as auto-exposure targets middle grey. The solution is to adjust the compensation. If you’re using a manual exposure then well… you picked the wrong value.
