After packaging, on some low-end computers it comes up with this error (Reinstalling the program doesn’t work):

In my project’s “Project settings > Windows > Targeted RHIs”, I only have DX11 and DX10 selected.

Both computers only have 4GB of ram and are generally considered as being bad. When playing the game, it uses a max of 500mb which doesn’t cap the 4GB they had. One of the two computers is also capable of running Overwatch with very nice performance. Here is a dxdiag for both computers. Vulkan error 1 - Pastebin.com - Vulkan error 2 - Pastebin.com
Any clues on whats causing the crash?
I’m suffering from the same problem
I actually figured it out. You need to install Vulkan drivers for your computer even if you’re not using Vulkan. Its supposed to be installed already but for some computers, its not LunarXchange
I wouldn’t really call this a solution per say. There are some PCs that don’t support Vulkan or have some restrictions to them (I have workstations on which I can’t install Vulkan on but can use UE4)
This solution worked for a pc with a HD 6950 gpu in it which doesn’t support Vulakn and as I said, the game doesn’t necessarily need to use Vulkan, I’ve just found that it won’t launch without these drivers.
I’m not talking about the GPU supporting it or not, there are cases where Vulkan is not allowed/cannot be installed like alot of workstation PCs which have restrictive installs.
Also, there are projects on where this error does not occur. But I don’t know the cause
