VS Code path

I am using VS Code - Insiders as my IDE of choice, but there is no apparent way to use it as a default Verse editor in UEFN - it just asks to install VS Code again.

How can I use my existing VS Code Insiders installation instead of mainline VS Code required by UEFN?

Hi @CJMAXiK :

Currently, only the production version of VS Code is supported for the Verse VS Code extension, and our logic in UEFN that auto-detects the VS Code version installed as well. However, we’ll take supporting this request into consideration for a future release.

If you could help us out by elaborating: is there a specific feature from the Insiders version of VS Code that you’re using which the production version does not have? We’d like to be aware of what our users are taking advantage of to make sure that if/when we support it, we also make sure that we test alongside those features as well.

Thank you for your answer.

There is no specific reason why I use Insiders version, but it is already installed and perfectly set up for my needs, and I don’t see myself having trouble of migrating just for UEFN.
