I’m posting this here as I’ve found the same question from a year ago in reddit, but it seems like the poor dude got no anwser, and I’m suffering from the same problem. (https://www.reddit.com/r/VisualStudio/comments/1ic1h3v/why_does_vs_2022_open_a_file_selector_when_i/)
Basically “randomally” whenever I press Ctr+Shif+S to save files the “Save As” window pops up, I have to manually close with with the mouse, then focus on the IDE again and re-press the keys (and it can happen more than once in a row…)
This may seem like a minor thing, but counting the number of saves you can do while programming per minute this gets infiurating very soon.
This is a video where I show how make something as simple as changing a letter in a commented line, does trigger the error (sometimes), for the first half I do Ctrl+S the second half I use Ctrl+Shif+S. In the video im editing a file which is in my system, is not a unreal engine file, I’ve created this file long ago, I’ve edited and saved this file a thousand times.
This is the video (most of the trys reuslt in the window popping. I can’t see any relation between failures and successes):
It is also not always as problematic as I show in the video, sometimes I can go for some time without the window popping, I have no clue what can be the issuer here…
One last thing, I have no keybind reffered to “Save As”.

Any kind of light that you guys can throw towards me can help. Thank you for your time
