VR - UE5 Showing black shimmering around edges of VR with Foliage

Hi, im trying to figure out what this black ring around my VR perspective is when looking at certain assets like Foliage. Heres a link to my recording i made of what i can see in VR. Any help would be really appreciated thankyou : )

it is the fix fovering in render setting but I dont know why it is bad in unreal engine 5

I got same issue in UE5.1. I switched the “Early Z-Pass” to “Opaque and masked meshes” and checked the box for “Mask material only in early Z-Pass” in the Rendering > Optimization Category and the problem solved. I’m not sure why but you can try it:)

This looks like its caused by the fixed foveation vr project setting to me
