ue4 still weights in 405 times more than Godot, for what reason???
My guess is its because Unreal Engine is around 405 times better than Godot
Nah real talk, there’s just so much more in Unreal compared to Godot, and some of it is old code/data from previous engines. For example, there are icons for components in UE4 that were used as early as Unreal 2. There’s also more than a few features that are only partially developed and not enabled by default, but still exist in the engine for some reason, such as the Light Propagation Volume component. Unreal Engine has existed for over 30 years at this point.

LPV was tentatively introduced in ue4 and as everything else in the engine it was never finished.
