VR template bloom

Hello! I noticed that when creating neon-like material (simple emissive color multiplied by 20 units) the results differ between 3rd person template and VR template. in the 3rd person template map the effects looks right, but in the VR template the bloom looks very “non bloomish”. I can achieve the right bloom in the VR template using “Convolution” bloom setting, but not with the standard one.

What would be the cause? I checked the PP bloom settings, project rendering settings and between these two projects they look the same. Am I missing something?

From this post it’s not clear if you’re deploying to PCVR or Mobile VR.

In the context of Mobile VR (Oculus Quest) Bloom is a postprocess effect and requires Mobile HDR to be enabled. (It is best practice to not use Mobile HDR in mobile development because of the performance impact)
