VR Template - 5.6.1 - no teleport and nav meshes will not build

Using Unreal 5.6.1 - open a new VR template project - build and VR preview - there is no teleport functionality and get a nav mesh needs rebuilding message.
building paths & deleting and adding a new nav mesh bounds doesn’t change anything
from a bit of digging around issue may relate to world partition.

have tried adding world partition to the template but it just hangs on 0%

can anybody confirm/ reproduce this?
Is there a documented workaround with steps required to get the VR template up and running in 5.6.1?

to follow up on this.
ive now tested on several systems,

the issue arises once the VR template project is opened and “build all levels” is executed - simply building paths doesnt invalidate the Nav mesh.
the workaround IS to delete the nav mesh bounds volume and the recast nav mesh - then convert the map to world partition (tools>Convert level - using default settings) you will then need to select the active area using the world partition window to load the assets.

then add and scale a new nav mesh bounds. Then build all and allow it to generate Hlods.

conversion failed on my laptop but completes in around 10mins on a decent desktop with another 15mins to build hlods
