Hello everyone,
I would like to get some help for anyone expert in vr rendering optimization.
My case is:
I am the “landscape” map from ue4 marketplace, and i am using it as vr project, where i spawn the player where he must shoot some targets around the map.
The issue i’m having is as follow:
All the targets(objects) i add to the map, won’t be rendered correctly, and to explain it in better way, i have the ue4 mannequin placed away from the player about 30 m ( i have an text updating the distance from player to object, so i can know how far i am from that object), but the object is blurry and barely recognizable which is not right, because in real life a person located at about 30-40 m away can be recognized…
So what i am looking for, is a way to make those object clear at least at the human normal sight view, like making the object recognizable at the real life distances human eye recognition.
I don’t care if landscape around me is not looking great, because my main focus is on the objects located in the map…
Another real life example: at 150-200 m, an eye can see the shape of a human,so we know that there is somebody, but in my project at this distance nothing is observable other than the landscape…
I hope i made my situation clear so i can get the help needed.
And thank you.
And i am really glad to work on projects using UE4 because it is a great Software that have immense capability, and gaming development is advancing my programming knowledge much farther( i am a programmer), but i am very far away from art which is , as i learned, is an essential part of game development, which makes me somehow doubt the ability of continuing this path, as i work alone most of the time.
