VR Preview low FPS

Hello :slight_smile:

VR Preview lowers my fps about 8x. On the Minimal_Default map it drops from ~280 to ~35. Are there special setting I need to change?

Hi,

I already have so low frame rate about 5 FPS at BP vehicle template for Oculus VR Preview 4.12.5 at my GTX 1080. I use Oculus DK2 with 1.6.0 runtime. It’s my first run so I don’t have time to check whats is going on. Perhaps some problems with my drivers … I will investigate this and let you know.

Anyone also have such problems ?

Yes, I got it: The problem was in my sound card software Nahimic Sound Enhancer from MSI motheboard. Switching it off in my case solve this problem.

This was also my case. I turned off several background tasks also and my frame rate raised from ~10 FPS to ~45 FPS.
