Some of the experienced game developers may no this, But I am a noob and i’m testing this as I am learning what I can do with VR. The other day while trying to workout it a Open world environment would be a good experience, as Epic used the teleportation in Bullet Train. I was thinking that some developers may want to allow open world movement by using a horse or maybe even a segway (in a city enviroment), so you can spawn dangers along a path but then use teleportation for dismounting or mounting. But this testing on how to get a large world so the player can stand on top of a cliff or a building to get scale. I found the best way to get good frame rate was to have the landscape as tiles. So just like the trees at a set distance they are not rendered the same is happening with the landscape. Thought I would post this as other beginner VR developers like me can get this knowledge without having to do the trial and error.
