By ShellEject, you mean the var “ShellEjectionForce” on the gunbase? that’s the speed that the shell (not bullet) is ejected after firing
The emitter from the fire is not attached to the gun, I believe this is by design but you can change this functionality if it fits better your needs, just need to attach the “GunShotEmitter” to the weapon

Hi VrPrime, I purchased your toolkit recently and it looks good - thank you. I have a question which I don’t think has been asked yet. How do you spawn a character with a gun already in hand? I was thinking I could use the ‘GrabGun’ function in VRGunHands to trigger on begin play, but there must be a better way?

Unfortunately and as Zippyo3 said, some RL commitments popped up, but I’m still working on the next toolkit update and it’s looking very good I just need some time to test it out before submitting, I want to make sure everything is as bug free as I can before sending it in.
Hi Cobryis, the pack was not made with multiplayer in mind, so there’s no replication, there’s some work needed to make it work with multiplayer

Another question. Currently there are 2 guns attached to your waist. Would it be possible to replace one with for example a magazine? And is it possible to add more, so you can have a gun and 2 different magazines?
Very interested and in the ability to carry magazines or perhaps even the option to toggle which aode your holster is on. I’m doing a little research now into how the holsters are added to the player however a little word from VRPrime would be great
I’ve found the blueprint part for the waist, but I haven’t yet tested what would happen if you would replace the guns with a magazine.
I’m also struggling with the positioning of the gun in relation to the Vive controller. It seems to be a little off-center and it’s difficult to place it exactly as I want.

Regarding the update, we’ve submitted it to epic, so it’s hard to give an ETA on when they will release it for you, I’ll post here as soon as they reply that the pack is updated.
Regarding the positioning of the gun, on the gun base you have “VivePreviewController” mesh, if you turn the visibility on, you can see where the gun will be relative to the controller. You should not move this or the frame, but instead use the GunRoot for moving the placement of the gun. Let me know if this helps
For the magazine, I would say that it should work for you to change one of the guns with a magazine, I have not tested this but from what I can see, you probably would only need to make sure physics is off on the spawned magazine, so that she stays attached to the hip. The guns are added on the “BP_ArcadePawnExample” with the “SpawnGunInHolster” function, you would have to create a similar one but for the magazine on one of the hands

Thank you, that fixed it. But now the 2nd controller when grabbing the gun is slightly too low. I don’t see the option anywhere to raise this, the 2nd hand off set doesn’t seem to be working.
When I tried replacing the gun with a magazine and I tried to grab it, it just dropped to the ground and it didn’t respawn either. I’ll have to look some more into that this weekend.
Great asset btw, really liking it so far! Would it be difficult to implement this into a multiplayer game?
