VR: Anyone know why my water looks like this in right eye?

Left eye seems fine, right eye you can see how the green-ness is only covering half the water.

Whatever this is, it actually moves around in the right eye like it’s a green plane filling the water area, but when I move my head the ‘plane’ moves with me.

I’ve been seeing a similar issue exclusive to the right-eye. The material on the plane seems to warp and move around as the HMD turns and moves around.

I’ve also experienced odd instances where reflections and lights did not render properly in the right-eye. I have not tracked down what the cause is yet sadly

If you ever do please make a big post about it. This right eye rendering issue is the single most pressing issue everytime I work with VR and 9/10 of my projects are VR based.

@Anthony_Attwood

I am unsure, but these two PRs might attempt to the solve part of the issue:

Thank you, I guess this means I’d have to use the source version of unreal to test these?

At the moment of writing, yes.

It’s also a public PR, so there is no guarantee if and when this will be accepted into the main branch for official release in e.g. 5.8 and beyond.
