I use Unreal for filmmaking purposes. I upgraded to 5.1 and have noticed weird “sparkles” or artifacts when I look at foliage that have volumetric clouds behind them. I’ve played with every lighting setting I can think of. I believe the sun also has a strange flicker to it. My only temp solution for the tree issue is to turn off volumetric clouds. Any idea what’s going on?
I resolved this myself.
I was using the render directly from the new sequence. I then discovered the movie render queue and exported remotely and it cleaned up all of the artifacts. ,
