ViveTracker won't update position after teleport

Modeled a basket and mesh is inside a BP Pawn, linked to a Vive tracker (see attached image).
This works/moves/rotates as expected when you are at starting position.
BUT, as soon as I teleport to a new location, the tracker/BasketMesh refuses to come with me to the new location.

Any ideas? Do i need to specifically tell the tracker to teleport along with controllers? If so, how would I go about that.
