Vive not recognized and no VR preview

Our Vive suddenly is not being detected by 4.9.2, so we can’t use VR preview, or even standalone, since none of the VR console commands are recognized. The only differences that we know of since it was last working is an OS update from Windows 8.1 to 10, and a firmware update on the Vive HMD. I have verified with another developer that Windows 10 works with his Vive, but I don’t know if he updated his HMD firmware. As for our testing, we have confirmed that it isn’t recognized by two different machines running 4.9.2 after the firmware update.

My only theory is that the firmware update changed some of the device IDs that get reported to Windows, and Unreal is looking for the old IDs to detect when a Vive is plugged in. Does anyone have a deeper understand of the logic that attempts to detect if various HMDs are plugged into the computer?
