Hello,
I have my HTC Vive Focus 3 connected to my PC using USB and Vive Business Streaming + SteamVR.
I can use it with Unity (preview mode and builds) and games.
But on UE5 I don’t have the VR preview option enabled. I also tried to build the CollabViewer template but it didn’t recognize my headset.
Can you help me ?
I’m new to UE.
Thank you
Hello Jonathan, Welcome to the forums.
I’m not familiar with the Vive Focus, but looking at the Vive docs - It looks like you’ll need Wave SDK (which does not appear to have a version for 5.0)
I’d be curious to know if you have any luck just enabling the SteamVR plugin. But if it’s anything like Quest you’ll need to install Android DevTools. (My favorite way to check if UE will recognize my Quest is to open a command prompt and type ‘adb devices’)
Good luck!
Hey Jonathan,
Any luck on your issue?
I have a similar problem: I try to stream VR Content (Archviz project) from my PC via USB to the Focus 3, but I don’t have hands or any movement functions once in VR. I can only look around. I tried to adjust the SteamVR Binding Dashboard but it doesn’t show any “boolean and vector1actions”. What am I missing here?
