Virtual Scouting with Vive Controller?

Hi folks,

I’ve followed the instructions in the docs (Activating the Virtual Scouting Tools | Unreal Engine 5.1 Documentation)

When i go into VR mode and press the menu button on my controller, nothing happens. I guess because my Vive controller isn’t yet set up in the inputs page in project settings?

But i can’t find any instructions about how to do this.

And for the controller to actually show up in VR mode, do i also need to create an actor and assign a controller looking mesh?.. and do some blueprint jiggery-pokery?

Or do i only need to set up the axis and button mappings and the Virtual Production Utilities plugin will do the rest?
