Summary

VFX Spawners create dirty edits for URC and revision control systems, even when you enter the project in UEFN, it creates conflicts. This causes many issues and its currently hard to revert them since it happens constantly (+ I don’t see an option to revert them specifically, not sure if I am missing something)

Steps to Reproduce

Enable world streaming
Add VFX spawners
Enable URC
Have two users in the project at the same time

Expected Result

No conflicts

Observed Result

Conflicts appear for at least a user, without the other one touching it

Hey @Wertandrew Do you still have this issue with the current release?

Dirty edits are still created, just tested. I didn’t get a conflict though and I just synced after saving them once, then after sync I had to save again

Okay thanks for testing. I just found the issue has been already logged with the team, but no solution has landed yet. I will post back here once we got a release where this is fixed.

We’ve been getting this too. We’ve moved all of our vfx spawners to raw niagara systems that are triggered through cinematics to work around this for the time being.
