Thanks for the suggestions. Sorry for the delay on updates. I’ve been working on the grenade feedback and I’ve submitted it. I’m almost done with the decals for the bullets… then I’ll most likely submit that. Sorry again for the delays. The changes to the grenades took much longer than expected.
+1 environmental VFX, Weathers .etc everything natural, I’m not interested in nothing sci-fi

Would be great to have a couple of bullet tracers as well, they are hard to get right especially if you follow real bullet speeds 300M-1000m /sec.

Freddy those look really awesome! Will they have LODs? I haven’t watched for the grenade because I think they occur at resonable interval but bullets with this many details might cause perf issues if there are many on screen and no LOD.
Either ways that’s fantastic work and another instabuy / integration.
By the way normally today or tomorrow we’ll put the grenades in our game, I’ll send you a video so you can see how cool your work is ^^

As for the tracers, its challenging indeed, I tried that a couple of months ago and haven’t achieved anything really cool

Yes there are LODs in the set. I was debating on having a close LOD, but its one of the snags building generic assets. I have no idea how they’re going to be used, so I’m not sure what kind of ranges to use. For an FPS, it would range differently than a 3rd person iso etc etc.
But YES there are LODs.
I’m looking forward to seeing the grenades in game. Thanks! I wonder how many of the effects made are being used ‘as is’. I assume they’re either getting changed or altered to suit the needs of the game.

The Vector Particles pack has extremely good fire & smoke & sandstorms. Steam is freely available in one of the learning packs–same with dust. Weather pack contains rain & snow.

Sorry for the delay in releases. I’m about to finish up an electrical pack to submit in the next couple weeks, then I’ll check the list to see what’s next.
