Very visible shadow cut between head and body of my character

Hey there!

I’ve got a weird issue happening between the head of that NPC and its body, the seam is very visible.

Everything looks fine when seeing it elsewhere, like in the ABP viewport.

As the game is using static lighting I’m using the Capsule indirect shadow to fake the shadows of that chara.

Could that be part of the reason why? It still doesn’t look great when I turn them off.

Look at the World Normal buffer visualizer. Most likely the vertex normals are not the same on the head and body at the transition. Fixing this would require adjusting the normals of the mesh in the modeling software.
