This is a very good place to start - translucent shaders are expensive because their color depends on what is behind them, so every pixel requires multiple calculations. If you have translucency on foliage for example, this can stack up pretty quickly because six, seven, eight translucent objects in a row means the engine will have to calculate data for all of those objects in order to correctly color the one that is in front.
Yeah that makes sense. I don’t see the need for translucent Foliage right now anyway. I’ll turn the Translucency off all my Foliage when I get blocks of time to do it. Thanks again!

im on an rtx 3090 and no matter what i do i cant get this thing past 75 fps… usuallt its around 50 … Blank level no sky might get 100… but if i add sky it drops to like 70-80… The performance is terrible nad im not sure what to do.
