hi @RealLawyerJoe

This error looks like a cook failure.

This is Not the same as the result of Verse error that others users are seeing

Sorry its new error, so unable to help. Needs voting up as its an ENGINE assertion error

thanks

Apologies! I had no idea what it was yelling at me for and I just assumed it was verse related. I pray this gets fixed my map itself is entirely unplayable and doesnt cook

FORT-1006917 has been created and its status is ‘Unconfirmed’. This is now in a queue to be reproduced and confirmed.

Hi @RealLawyerJoe .

Please reply to the thread with the island number and the project ID, as Epic Support requires these details to investigate the issue.

If you make a private version, do you get the same problem?

Could you try to verify your installation, because sometimes the updating system gets corrupt and you have to uninstall 37.** and fully install 38.00

To verify, follow the post

How to verify UEFN/Fortnite

Yes, if I make a private version I still get the error.

island code is 7761-0247-8214

Project ID is: “9c50e971-46b0-bc0c-51b8-df941222316b”

Edit: I should add the fact that this is the ONLY project this happens in, I had been working on something different. Came back to this project to update it and now its entirely broken and gives me that error.

Seems my island has been “taken down”? It doesnt appear on my page anymore despite it saying its listed. Im so lost, what is going on?

This seems to be my project only, I migrated everything over to a new project and I dont get the error. What is going on?

hi @RealLawyerJoe

This does happen a lot because the

UEFN - Content Service

has become corrupted in the previous version. When you make a new project,

you make a new entry on the content service, and of course, that is where you store your Persistent data. It should be possible to delete all the data and recreate it.

Can I delete the data in the sam project? If so, how?

hi @RealLawyerJoe

Look at this post in the thread. The second-to-last picture shows how to delete persistent data

Verse Persistence incompatible without editing the verse file that contains it

Thank you! I hope this fixes the map as I really dont to have a different island code for my project.

Would this work if I dont have save data? I went to clear it and nothing showed which I figured because I dont use any thing like that

Tried this and it did not work
