Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a Widget Blueprint and place an “Image” widget.

  2. Add fields of type color and color_alpha in Verse.

  3. In View Bindings, attempt to select one of the created Verse fields for the “Brush” property of the “Image” widget.

Expected Result

Either the color field or the color_alpha field should be selectable and accepted by the Brush property binding.

Observed Result

Regardless of which field is selected (color or color_alpha), the Value field remains blank.

  • I attempted to select all available binding options (including “Set Vector Parameter(Brush)” shown in the attached image) to ensure the issue was not specific to a single binding type.

  • I am uncertain whether the color or color_alpha field is the intended type for binding to the Image Brush property.

Works for me you just add the variable as the direct thing ie

Changes through verse too

Please fix this, Epic.
If you use color “split” to place RGB via float, the compiler lets you do it, but during the game your WBP crashes
