Summary

In Fortnite Creative and UEFN, the Boost Regen setting for vehicles is blocked when fuel consumption is enabled, but in Battle Royale, All Vehicles have Boost Regen and Fuel consumption Enabled.
Why is the Boost Regen setting enabled in Battle Royale but blocked in UEFN and Creative?

Steps to Reproduce

Place any ground vehicle spawner and try to enable boost regen and fuel consumption.

Expected Result

The Boost Regen setting should be enabled and configurable when Fuel Consumption is also enabled.

Observed Result

The Boost Regen setting is blocked out when Fuel consumption is enabled.

FORT-1048708 has been ‘Backlogged’. This is an issue we’d like to address in the future.

Is there any timeframe for when this will be fixed? I would like to be using this feature for my racing maps to help spice up the racing, and I am planning to host tournaments on my maps in the upcoming months and this feature would be really useful if it can be fixed before then, thanks.

i am an experinced fortnite racer, if this was to be put into place it would mean so much to the community and everyone in it, it would make the races and the map itself, more enganging for the player

@Flak is there any way to get this issue expedited? I have a bunch of racing maps I host tournaments on and we are in desperate need of a vehicle boosting mechanic with fuel enabled. I can wait a bit longer for this issue to be fixed, but I just would like confirmation that this issue is noted and being worked on, thank you.

As someone who also races in fortnite regularly, being able to add a feature like this would make a giant impact on how enjoyable the racing is for myself and all the thousands of others who do fortnite racing.

basically as a driver myself it would mean very much to us because of upcoming F1 2026 Regulations, Commander wants to replicate. Racing would be very good.

Please make this addition as it would greatly enhance the immersion and overall enjoyment of this subsection of the game

I am an experienced driver, today if you are not starting in pole or in the front row the race is boring and even starting in pole the race can be boring. This update must be benefic for racing.
