While waiting for the Verse Validation step, the browser all of a sudden updates with a message that says “Something went wrong” in red text along the top. Going back to create.fortnite.com and navigating back to publishing the island, the Verse Validation fails immediately this time. When clicking the error message, the message “Internal Cooker Error errors.com.epicgames.cookplugin.cookfailure” appears, with no further information.

Additional Notes
In the v42 patch, our game was broken with a critical engine bug that results in the game + UEFN engine crashing immediately upon load. I’ve spent the day diagnosing and identified the specific Verse code that causes the crash, and found a workaround to get the code to compile and a session to launch. I don’t know if this is related.
