Using World Postion Offset to Rotate a Material

This is a beginner question: I created a material that uses World Position Offset to rotate a mesh that it is applied to. The rotating material is a golden metal. The mesh rotates fine during the game but as the backside of the mesh spins around it is distorted and not metal looking at all. Am I missing some parameters to set for the backside??? I have include 2 screen shots…the rotating mesh during the game and the code for the rotating material.
