Summary

The cloak gauntlets have a glitch that lets you use weapons and such while you are invisible

Steps to Reproduce

1, Place down a changing booth and a way to get cloak gauntlets
2, Use the cloak gauntlets and Respawn
3, enter the changing booth and swap your skin to something else
4, go invisible and you can now use anything while invisible

Expected Result

The expected result would be that it would de-cloak you

Observed Result

You stay cloaked while being able to use weapons

Glad to see a bug report for this, played a lot of another map that had this bug being abused and the devs tried everything, praying epic patches a bug for once.

This is a incredibly similar but ever so slightly diffrent glitch as it doesnt work without the respawning of the player

so idk if this should be considered a ‘‘duplicate’’ post

The team needs some help on a repro. Could you walk through the repro steps that differ from the closed dupe thread?

So the main thing that differs is that the respawning while invisible seems to be required, without it it functions the way it should function.
i think it only works in published versions and not in edit sessions
(sorry it took a while to respond, i was trying to get a clip but its taking way longer then expected)

So i’ve done a bit more testing and im more confused then before
it seems that sometimes it works without requiring the respawn, sometimes it requires the respawn, and sometimes it just doesnt work at all
it seems to be quite inconsistent
