Summary
Hello,
I accidentally used the Roll Back Published Version feature on my island and reverted to the previous published version.
Before proceeding, I received a warning that player save data could be lost. Unfortunately, after the rollback, all player persistent data was reset.
Our island uses Verse persistent data and players lost all of their progression, including:
• Rebirths
• Brainrots
• Currency
• Progression stats
• Other saved data
After noticing the issue, I immediately restored and published the latest version again, but the player data did not return.
The island has only been live for about one month, and this rollback appears to have reset the entire progression history of the map.
A large number of players lost all of their saved data accumulated since the island launched, including Rebirths, Brainrots, currency, and progression.
Many of these items, upgrades, and Brainrots were obtained through purchases made with V Bucks. As a result, players have lost content that required both significant playtime and real money purchases. This makes the situation especially serious for our community.
Is there any possibility of restoring the persistence data from Epic’s backend backups or reverting player data to its state before the rollback?

This issue has affected a large number of players and has resulted in the loss of both earned and purchased progression. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Steps to Reproduce
Create and publish an island that uses Verse persistent data stored with persistable objects and weak_map.
Allow players to accumulate progression, Rebirths, Brainrots, currency, and other saved data.
In Creator Portal, use the Roll Back Published Version feature and revert the island to a previous published version.
Publish the reverted version.
Launch the island and check player progression data.
Restore and publish the latest version again.
Check player progression data again.
Expected Result
Player persistent data should remain intact, or there should be a way to recover the data after restoring the latest version. Player progression, Rebirths, Brainrots, currency, and purchased content should not be permanently lost after an accidental rollback.
Observed Result
All player persistent data was reset after the rollback, including Rebirths, Brainrots, currency, progression stats, and other saved data.
