URC Checkin description clearing while making further changes

Summary

When writing URC check-in change descriptions, not checking in but making further changes and then checking in again, the previously written checkin description is gone. That is super annoying since minor changes clear my entire description

Is this about the check-in description in the CONFIRM SUBMIT window?

That gets reset after every time you successfully perform a CHECK IN CHANGES.

This window:

I often write some change descriptions, but don’t push my changes. Then i do some more development and when i get back to add more descriptions, the previous descriptions are gone. Not sure when they are erased, but definitely before I submit any changes.

So how do you close this window when you do not push?

By pressing Xor CancelI suppose?

cancel, never x

when i click check-in again after cancel the previous description is still there. But after some more development it happens that the previous description is gone.

Do you have any repro steps? What kind of development?

Or a video perhaps?

Unfortunately, it is hard to repro. By development i mean just regular work on my project. Like writing code, making prefabs, building a level. The main issue i observe is that i click on check-in, write a description but do not push, because i am not done with my work yet. Then i do more development of any kind, i do not track that specifically. And when i come back to the check in window, the description is gone and i have to rewrite it.
I know that a specefic repro would be needed, but i cannot say more than that it is happening regularly and after some time of whatever work i do.
Ill try my best to pinpoint when it happens.
