Upgrading Unreal 5.3.0 to 5.3.2 nuked my Unreal project

Hello Unreal Community,

This is my first post and I’m not sure if I am posting in the right catagory.

I have run into major problems with this project I’ve been working on. I created this animation in Unreal 5.3.0. I hadn’t touched it in months. So I load up Unreal the other day and it updates to 5.3.2 and so many things got broken… my animation sequence got deleted, my “shot” animations that are binded turned red, the HDRI skydome light got deleted, lights got deleted, and cameras got renamed. Just to name a few things I’ve discovered. There could be more. I cannot resume my work. So many things either got deleted or broken.

I also tried converting my Scene into 5.4.4 and its the same thing. I spoke with a few friends of mine who work professionally in Unreal and they have no idea what happened here.

The only conculsion I can come to is that I need to get a copy of Unreal Engine 5.3.0 so I can finish my project.

Is there a way I can get back to Unreal 5.3.0? I cannot download it in the Epic Games Launcher. I’m really at a loss what to do at this point. The only other alternative is to rebuild/fix everything that was lost in my project. This is a monumental task as I have around 15 camera shots and so much things to redo.

I have looked on the forums but I haven’t found anything specific to what I’m experiencing. It seems upgrading from 5.3.0 just nuked my project.

Please advise.

Thank you in advance.
