Upgrading some items does not work properly hasn't been fixed despite the bug being marked as fixed

Summary

I uploaded a bug report where it showcased that some items do not upgrade properly. This bug was marked as fixed in 37.20 but wasn’t fixed in that update. This is going to be a repost of that bug so the devs can hopefully fix it the second time around.

Upgrading some items (ex: to legendary with the Midas Flopper) either doesn’t work or doesn’t work properly.

  1. Grab an item from the list below.
  2. Eat a Midas Flopper or find another way to upgrade it.
  3. Observe it not upgrade to the right thing.

Expected Result

All items listed below upgrade to the correct rarity.

Observed Result

All items listed below do not upgrade to the correct rarity.
