Updated from 4.11 to 4.12 - Scene too dark and reflective

I tried it already… but it’s not right. shouldn’t my glossy surfaces reflect the environment (in realtime for example) and not 100% rely on the static hdri. 1st time I encounter this problem.

So we had a missteps with the build. 4.12.3 will have the reflection model all fixed up just as it was on 4.11.2

Thats correct 4.12.3 not 4.12.2. We found a critical crash bug in 4.12.1 and wanted to get 4.12.2 out ASAP with minimal other changes. 4.12.3 is slated to be released soon though.

I see the sources are now 4.12.2 but just after that I can see this commit :

If I download now the sources, this problem and my problem will disappear? If not can you notify us when the source will be updated to correct this bug

The issue you cited is different than the issue being discussed on this thread. I suggest tracking you issue on the UDN thread that you started.

Is it possible to get the fix at the moment? Been delaying a bunch of stuff for our game trying/waiting for this fix. :frowning:
