It seems to be when it’s trying to compile the first set of shaders that causes an immediate shut down.

Does anyone have this problem? Compiling the files you download from (without errors) just makes your editor icon pop up and just shut down and never launch the editor. The launcher version works fine though. Is version having missing files or sth?

Same here, but only with certain projects. E.g. the elemental demo is no problem…
@Dark, Yeah the editor doesn’t even start with me. At least we now know it’s not related to one card manufacturer type or drivers, 4.1 Issue. @ if you can get the editor loaded the issue your having will probably be due to your examples being set for the 4.0.2, right click on the project files for the examples and select convert to 4.1. That should solve your issue.
The Elemental Demo Runs fine in the editor, but soon as I run it in Standalone Game Mode my pc just freezes up and I can’t do anything and my cpu usages is running around 30%
I redownloaded the files and recompiled, I can launch the engine now Seems the server was overloaded so some files were missing or sth. Anyways, thanks for keybinding feature in this build (having an AZERTY keyboard). The only problem is that in viewport, I could bind moving to AZERTY layout, but when I click play, everything goes to QWERTY layout and there is no option to bind keys in play mode. I hope you take that into consideration. Thanks.
Is anyone having problems generating Visual files after running generateprojectfiles.bat located in batchfiles of this engine ? when I click generate visual file nothing happens and the launcher just pops up. I want to create an sln for brickgame and compile it to work with 4.1. Thanks.
Edit: I see why now: RegisterShellCommands.bat is the needed one and it is missing from that batch folder so we can not generate project files :((((

Download Firefox or google chrome and set that as default browser. No need to upgrade IE

Yes when hitting play or simulate, The demo crashes my PC. Alos why there isn’t the planetarium and other rooms shown in 2012? The statues, changing their colour and lighting etc?

That’s not it. Checked that already. Seems to be a problem with some of my code I guess…
