The warp-speed material I got going on here on the background seems to be interacting badly with some foreground elements… The material is an emissive fresnel based material, nothing too fancy. But when the pink tendrils move, there is some weird trailing or smearing left. It just looks odd… How does one mitigate this problem or what kind of shader setting, or issue with the shader could be causing this effect?
I’ve experienced this kind of odd trailing/smearing in other elements, sometimes grass, or things with alpha, never been really able to pinpoint exactly what causes it.
I tried rendering the video with 30fps, 100fps, changed resolution, changed all sorts of low-level settings on the warp parent material… Things like changing framerate definitely influence the result, but the smearing remains.
