I have submitted my first new thread on the Unreal Engine Forums and I click submit and then it goes back to the forum but the thread is not there.

I have check my inbox but it also does not show my post. I looked on the forum but could not find a place to submit a question to a moderator so I am posting here to see if someone can help.

I think you need a moderator’s approval for the first 5 posts. It might take a tad longer on weekends.

After that, it’s going to be instant.

Thank you! It would be helpful if a little popup window opened when you posted and said what you just said. Or receive an e-mail letting you know how it works.

I do agree. Occasionally you see people starting a couple of nearly identical threads, thinking something went wrong and not realising that their post is awaiting approval.
