Thank you Epic Games for giving me this skill. I remember when I first played Tomb Raider, the Zelda series and more and being amazed by so many cool puzzles, and I am so happy to finally have this similar skill learned today. I cannot believe I can make this now.
My first jump attack with backflip animation. Thank you Epic Games for this lesson. My adventure continues as I take one step closer towards my goals every day.
This was so much fun to work with. I took one of my favorite weapons from Elden Ring DLC (Guess Which One) and added a little bit of distortion and shifted the pitch to make melee weapon sounds, and I took sounds from the Village pack (FAB) to create Gun and Bow sound effects with lower and higher pitch.
I also made magic sound effects from my phone recordings of myself making sounds, and again I added some distortion and pitch before uploading to Unreal Engine. I did the same thing for my dodge roll sound effects, using towels and rolling onto the wall.
Farts and chicken sounds is made fromā¦. Well, I will let you figure that out hahahaha
I know this might be a small thing for veterans out there making way cooler stuff, but to me, this is probably my proudest moment to make this sound effects and learning how to use them in Unreal Engine.
Very Nice. Looks like youāll be using many abilities and effects. This may be of interest to you.
This lesson was a bit confusing to me at start but became much easier to understand once I start implementing them in my level. Respawn after death in video game is beautiful and now I know how to do this! My adventure continues towards my goal/dreamā¦
This was so much fun to learn and I cannot wait to learn more about AI in video games. Everyday I am learning something new and will update this post. Thank you Unreal Engine.
Finally, I can make Enemy AI with specific areas they can patrol in my level. I am looking forward to learning more and thanks for watching.
My enemy AI can now patrol and kill the player lol I canāt believe I can do this now. Looking forward to learn more and my adventure towards my goals continuesā¦
I have now completed the Epic Games - Game Design Professional Certificate in Coursera. Hereās the download file for my final project submission for anyone who is interested in playing. Itās not perfect, but I am proud of myself for achieving this goal and finally finishing this entire course.
Thank you Epic Games for this course and all the mentors. On to my next adventureā¦
Yaaaaay, I finally finished all my Coursera course by Epic Games. This feels unreal to me and proudest moment of my journey so far. Thank you Epic Games for this course.
I mistakenly made my landscape look like a cake during my experimentation mindset. I think I am going to stick with this design
I think I am happy with this design but I might change it Next stop, world building and I cannot wait to see the final game for this project.
Iām also considering a 2.5D MARPG. But, with only using 3D. Developed some techniques for 3D to 2D and Pixels in 3D. I also grabbed this cool 3D Flipbook Asset by Odium Studios that converts standard animations sequences to flipbook style animation in real-time.
