Unreal Engine PIE setup for HTC XR Elite

We are trying to figure out a correct setup to develop and test in PIE on HTC’s XR Elite headset.

The way we develop for Quest 2 etc is relatively straightforward and after pairing a headset with the Oculus PC app, navigating into the PC streaming app on the headset and opening UE project on a connected PC, VR Preview is available.

With XR Elite, it’s super painful. First, there are 2 different PC streaming apps - Vive Streaming Hub and Vive Business Streaming. We figured that Vive Streaming Hub needs to be used. For the runtime we set Steam VR as active.

But even then, it is unclear of what app we need to run on the headset to enable PIE streaming? No matter what we do the VR Preview is greyed out.

Any advice will be appreciated!

You need to use Steam VR and run this on the headset, together with VIVE streaming hub
