Hello! I wanted to install 5.4 preview but got a strange error: “EU-FA-31003”. I have not found anything about this error code. Any suggestions?
I’m having the same problem, and it seems we both wrote a new post at about the same time. To avoid duplicity I’m deleting the post I created. Here’s the extra information I could gathered:
It seems to be a problem with the EULA agreement (with key: unreal_engine2) not found:

I checked my account “EULA History”, and it seems to be there:
Is there any place where I need to accept a new EULA? (I’ve been looking, but didn’t found anything) or is there a problem of the service “com.epicgames.eulatracking.public”?

Same thing happens to me, I could start the download the other day, but today I’m getting the same exact error in my launcher’s logs.
What’s the URL to the EULA history thing? EDIT: Nevermind, found it in my Epic Games account website.

No. I removed it because I gave a wrong answer to the “What’s the URL to the EULA history thing?”. I wrote how to access “Epic Games Launcher” logs. (I should read more carefully before posting)
This is what I wrote in the deleted post:
To generate the logs, you need to start “Epic Games Launcher” with the parameter:
-debuglogging
Then, you take the steps to reproduce the error and the logs will be located:
C:\Users[YourUserNameHere]\AppData\Local\EpicGamesLauncher\Saved\Logs\EpicGamesLauncher.log
A detailed explanation:
- Right-Click on the Epic Games Launcher desktop shortcut.
- Select Properties.
- Select the Shortcut tab.
- Type the following to the end of the file path in the target field: -debuglogging
Make sure there is a space between the original text and -debuglogging - Click Apply.
- Launch Epic Games Launcher by double-clicking your desktop shortcut.
- Reproduce the problem (don’t do anything more with Epic Games Launcher) to avoid extra logs after the error.
- Navigate to your log files. They should be in the following location: C:\Users[YourUserNameHere]\AppData\Local\EpicGamesLauncher\Saved\Logs\EpicGamesLauncher.log

Me too. Yesterday I tried to download the Unreal 5.4 Preview, but I had to cancel the download and today I receive this error when try to download.

I am getting the same error:

If I find a solution I’ll post it here too.
Update 1: No issues if I try to download older versions from the launcher.
Update 2: Tried clearing saved folder for launcher, and tried multiple user accounts. No dice.
Update 3: Tried connecting Github to my UE account. Didn’t help with installing from launcher but am pulling the 5.4 branch straight from Github.

Also experiencing this issue. Accepted new Wallet EULA in browser account tab, updated Nvidia drivers, multiple restarts, but no changes yet.

I’m having the same exact problem.
Are any of the rest of you on some kind of campus or private network? I’ve tried downloading 5.4 on two different computers on my campus’ wifi and they both had the issue.
Or maybe it’s something broken on Epic’s side at the moment, hence all of us experiencing this issue today? Does we know if anyone else has been been able to download it since we’ve started getting this error?

Confirming I also see:

connected my Github account to see if that made a difference (it didn’t). But thought it a good idea to pull the 5.4 branch straight from GH while this gets sorted.
