i disagree. oculus sells beat saber with tons of sucess. the issue is that oculus keeps making new
hadrware and don’t give access to games that should be on that platform. oculus has closed off sucess for many of the games that would be very sucessful like vr tennis. oculus are just very selfish trying to hold the market at a standstill for their own games and ■■■■ whoever else wants access.
Does 4.26.2 have Chaos?
Modify Curve is broken in 4.26.2 - when I try to remove a pin, it turns it red and it never deletes, thus leaving the compilation with an error asking you to Refresh to default value or delete it. But it never deletes, like it is broken. Only workaround is to delete the whole entire Modify Curve node, and re-do it, which really sucks.
They will never add new features in hotfix… moreso big feature like chaos…

Still no fix it seems to be related to nvidia more than unreal microcrap edge has the same issue. I install a cheap GT1030 run my screens off this for work then switch when i want to game lol.
It’s more likely that it is depending on Microsofts direct storage or Nvidias RTX IO ( Which is also relying on direct storage) official beta release!

Just to give you a better time frame… still a bit later than early 2021 but what should you do when you have to rely on others.

Two things are broken in 4.26, even with the new hotfix. Both were working before.

Localized content isn’t working. anymore For example, create a localized version of a texture like before, it is not showing up in cooked build.

We had to increase the default font size of the legacy font in order to increase the sizes of subtitles, now that doesn’t help anymore either. No matter what the font size, subtitles are always the same size.
Now, the real question is, should I bother posting these in bugs section since the forums seems to be really deserted…I wonder if epic is waiting for UE5 or they will fix these in 4.27?
Electra Player doesn’t work with hls on ES3.1, it only work on vulkan.
Electra player can play that but only sound is out.
Developers - can you do us all a favor and get rid of the Object pin on the “Cast To” node. It is nothing but a nuisance. The Cast To node already knows what I am looking to link it to, so why is there this added homework assignment on top, of needing to fish through to find the appropriate Object. It’s like I’m all ready to have fun creating and this thing always is such a PIA. Make it so it works for us, not gives us more work to do,. Would that be so terrible…
After I updated nVidia graphics driver, graph editor is very slow. Can’t work this way, so I restored old drivers. Is it just me?
and 450000 hobbyists and small teams wont have that and thus unreal 5 will be a ghost town until these cards get super cheap the 1660 super ive managed to get ,the next card up costs 400 dollars more and 99% places dont even have it or the ones above…
they are doing themselves out if they dont slow down while graphic cards are not available.
If i dont have specs to do unreal 5 i wont be buying any neat packs to save me time will i?
I found a problem in 4.26. Not sure if it’s official bug but it happens to me, the widget is not working as expected. For details, the progress bar and the text fonts are not showing up correctly after binding created.
- Progress bar always shows blank/zero percent. Text font invisible after binding created.
Tested the same code n same UI on 4.25, works totally normal
